Questions About Our Forest Walks?
Find answers about our guided trails, accessibility, and how to get started in Birštonas
Our routes range from easy forest strolls to moderate terrain walks, so you can pick what suits you. Most people find something they're comfortable with—we focus on enjoyable pacing rather than pushing hard, and our guides are experienced with different mobility levels and needs.
Walks typically last between 45 minutes and 2 hours depending on the route you choose. We build in rest stops along the way—there are benches and quiet spots throughout the forest, and your guide will happily adjust the pace or take extra breaks whenever you need them.
Our mineral spring program combines guided walks with visits to natural springs and educational sessions about the therapeutic properties of Birštonas mineral water. Regular trail walks focus on the forest experience itself. The mineral program runs over multiple weeks, while trail walks are usually individual sessions you can join anytime.
Comfortable walking shoes with good grip are all you really need. We recommend bringing water and dressing for the weather—the forest offers shade, but it can still be warm in summer. Walking poles are helpful if you use them, though not required.
Absolutely—group walks are part of the experience. Friends and family members of all ages can join, though our routes are specifically designed with seniors in mind. It's a great way to stay active together.
